Australia Munitions Worker WWI, a very rare one piece bronze hat badge featuring the full Achievement of Arms of the Commonwealth of Australia with scroll below inscribed ‘Munitions Worker’ with curved pierced ‘Australia’ at base, the reverse with two lug fasteners (N&S) and the legends ‘Issued/By/Department/Of/Defence’ by ‘Stokes & Sons Melbourne’ and deeply stamped ‘3065’; together with a scarce bronze (Australian?) Chaplain’s badge a pierced cross pattee mounted with a small KC circular badge inscribed centrally ‘Unto/Him’ and ‘Through and Through’ on a ‘C’ shaped surround, original long pin back, very good condition (2) £60-80
