Bombay Light Horse, a very fine and scarce officer’s silver plated die-stamped KC cap badge crowned star with the city arms in the centre and motto ‘Urbs Prima Indis’ in surround unit title on scroll at base, a similar badge in white metal KV but with bottom scroll Bombay Light Patrol, a brass s/title OTS/ MHOW a KC ‘GRI’ cap badge in brass, two KC white metal buttons Bombay Volunteer Rifles, two similar KC examples to the Assam Valley Light Horse, and two w/m s/titles SVLH (Surma Valley Light Horse). Alfridi Battalion two white metal buttons a castle over ‘Alfridi’, Nilgiri Volunteer rifles three QVC white metal buttons; Punjab Light Horse a good quality officer’s KC cap badge gilt star white w/m overlay; Great India & peninsula Railway Volunteers a pair of once blackened brass s/titles ‘GIPRV’ and a brass ID slip inscribed ‘WM Watson.
