The Lincolnshire Regiment, an 1878 pattern officer’s home service blue cloth helmet complete with all fittings and bearing the 1881 pattern QVC helmet plate, this with the short title scroll ‘The Lincolnshire Regt’, the skull sound but the cloth severely faded and worn, the fittings devoid of all gilt and the crown of the plate detached from the star, the chin chain leather/velvet lining partly detached, internally reasonably sound but with staining and evidence of a previous plate £200-220
