J. Gardner of the Royal Tank Regiment, Major-General H. R. B. Foote, also of the Royal Tanks, Admiral Sir B. C. G. Place, R.N., of Tirpitz raid fame, Flight Lieutenant J. A. Cruickshank of Coastal Command, Brigadier L. MacL. Campbell of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, Wing Commander R. A. B. Learoyd, one of the first R.A.F. V.Cs of the 1939-45 War, Colonel P. A. Porteous of Dieppe raid fame, Lieutenant-Commander I. E. Fraser and Petty Officer T. W. Gould, both submariner V.Cs, Major D. A. Jamieson of the Norfolks, Lieutenant-Colonel E. C. T. Wilson, East Surreys (attached Somaliland Camel Corps), Flight Lieutenant W. Reid, a Bomber Command V.C., The Rt. Hon.
