George Henry Ince was born, lived and enlisted at Bolton, Lancashire. He died of wounds on 16 May 1915, received during the Battle of Fromelles, whilst serving with the 2nd Battalion, Rifle Brigade. He is buried at Longueness Souvenir Cemetery, near St Omer, France.
