Three: Drummer T. Hill, Worcestershire Regiment

1914 Star, with clasp (13207 Dmr., 3/Worc. R.); British War and Victory Medals (13207 Pte., Worc. R.); together with Memorial Plaque (Thomas Hill), in card envelope, extremely fine (4) £240-280

Thomas Hill was born and lived in Malvern, Worcestershire and enlisted at Worcester. Serving as a Drummer with the 3rd Battalion Worcestershire Regiment, he entered the france/Flanders theatre of war on 12 August 1914 and was killed in action on 29 October 1914, aged 21 years.. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on Le Touret Memorial. Sold with original but damaged card box lids and some copied research.
