William Henry Cheek was born in Dulverton, Somerset and living in Dulverton enlisted at Exeter. Serving with the 8th Battalion Devonshire Regiment, he was killed in action on 22 February 1916. He was interred in the Dartmoor Cemetery, Becordel-Becourt. Sold with original commemorative scroll.
