DNW 249, 1160). Trifling edge nicks, otherwise extremely fine and toned, very rare £500-£600

The Amicable, founded at Tom’s Coffee House in St Martin’s lane in 1696, was one of the first companies established for the insurance of houses against loss by fire. Commonly known as the ‘Hand in Hand’, it was acquired by Commercial Union in 1905
