Sir Frank Lockwood (1846-97), lawyer, Liberal MP for the City of York, 1885-97. In May 1895 he was lead counsel for the prosecution in the case of Regina v. Oscar Wilde. He was related to the medallist of this piece, Emily Henrietta Maude Schwabe, through his wife Julia Schwabe
