21st (Royal North British Fusiliers) Regiment Officer’s Shoulder Belt Plate c.1830-43.
A very fine and rare example, the matt gilt rectangular back plate is mounted with a silver fused grenade, upon the ball a crowned pierced circle, ‘Nec Aspera Terrent’ enclosing ‘21’, standard hook and stud fasteners, very good condition £800-£1,000
