‘Thomas I. Warr, John Barber, Alfred Barber, and Louis Windsor, at great personal risk, saved Jessie Spurway, and attempted to save Charles Windsor from drowning in No. 2 Pond, at Highgate, on 11th March 1886. Bronze medal to Warr, Vellums to J. & A. Barber, and L. Windsor.’
