Miss Lilian Agnes Goldberg (also recorded as Agnes Lilian Goldberg) trained as a Nurse at St. George’s Hospital, Swansea from 1912-16, and subsequently served at Cedar Voluntary Aid Detachment Hospital, Wells, Somerset. She enlisted in the Trained Nurse Department of the British Red Cross Society, and served as a Sister during the Great War in France from 5 February 1917, at Boulogne Headquarters, Unit no. 10 at Le Treport; Unit no. 2 at Rouen, and Unit no. 1 at Le Touquet. She returned from France on 19 July 1918.
