Athletics, Birmingham Athletic Club, a silver award medal by J. Moore, eagle with wings outstretched standing on rock, mountains behind, rev. motto above wreath, named (1 Mile Flat Race Handicap, 2nd Prize, won by E. Udal, May 16th 1874), 36mm; Birmingham Athletic Club, a silver cross, the centre being the same as the medal, words from the motto in each arm, back named (100 Yards Race, C.R.C. Miller, Second, July 24th 1875), 80 x 60mm [2]. Very fine, both with clips and rings for suspension; second with ribbon and silver clasp bearing Birmingham arms and sprig of flowers (£60-80)
