Hammer Price:
£700

Kings of Thrace, Kings of Thrace, Lysimachos (323-281 BC), gold Stater, uncertain mint, diademed head of deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon, rev. Athena Nikephoros seated left, holding Nike in extended right hand, left arm resting on shield, spear behind, monogram to outer left, k in exergue, 8.62g/9h. Very fine; an apparently unpublished variant (£500-600)

The fine style of the dies used for this coin certainly place it within the lifetime issues of Lysimachos
