The 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards arrived in Korea in December 1951 as part of the 1st Commonwealth Division equipped with Centurion Tanks. ‘B’ squadron of the regiment were heavily involved in support of the Black Watch during the Second Battle of the Hook that commenced on 18 November 1952. The Inniskillings left Korea the following month bound for the Suez Canal Zone.
