A German Second World War Luftwaffe Second Patter Officers’ Dagger.
A good example of the Luftwaffe 2nd pattern officers dagger. Very good blade by F.W. Holler, Solingen, with some grease marks but much cross grain finish remaining. Deep orange grip with some abrasions. One chip to the upper part of the grip. All grip wire intact. The fittings of the upper pommel, central cross guard and scabbard all match in colour. Fitted with its correct short pattern portapee knot and a set of the deluxe officers hanging straps, of which all of the sprung loaded clips are present and working correctly, good condition £300-£400
