Miss Evelyn Eburah was born in Leicester in c.1870 and enlisted in the British Red Cross Society in France on 25 September 1914, where she was employed at No. 18 French Hospital, Tournai. She served during the Great War on the Western Front until 8 April 1915, and in later life served as a Member of the Council of the British College of Nurses.
