John Kendall Hull was born in 1893 and was a native of St. Peters, Sydney, Australia. He attested for the Australian Imperial Force on 3 January 1916 and served with A Company, 16th Reinforcements, 3rd Battalion on the Western Front.

Sold together with an album containing the recipient’s Soldier’s Pay Books (2) and a large quantity of Great War period photographs, postcards, letters, cuttings and other ephemera relating to the recipient. Also sold with the recipient’s identity discs (3), 2 card and 1 aluminium; Rising Sun collar badges (2); ‘Australia’ shoulder titles (2); and ‘3 Inf’ shoulder titles (2)
