James III (1460-1488), Light issue, c.1482, Groat, Edinburgh, mm. cross fleury, bust with low crown of five fleurs breaking tressure of seven arcs, rev. three pellets in first and fourth quarters, mullet in second and third quarters, 2.56g/10h (SCBI 35, 765; B 25/27; S 5280). Jeweller’s mark in fourth quarter of reverse, otherwise very fine (£350-400)
