Henry I (1100-1135), Pellets in Quatrefoil type, Penny, Southwark, Algar, algar· on svdper·, 1.39g/1h (BMC 172, same dies; N 870; S 1275). Slightly off-centre, weak in places, officially incised at 4 o’clock and reverse scratched in fourth quarter, otherwise good very fine with attractive olive tone (£450-500)
