The Order of St. Michael and St. George, C.M.G., converted breast Badge, silver-gilt and enamels, enamel damage to one arm; India General Service 1895-1902, 2 clasps, Punjab Frontier 1897-98, Tirah 1897-98 (Capt’n., No. 1Mtn. By. R.A.); 1914-15 Star (Lt. Col., R.G.A.); British War and Victory Medals, with M.I.D. oakleaf (Brig. Gen.), first 3 letters of rank officially corrected on B.W.M.; Coronation 1911; Portugal, Military Order of Avis, Third Class, enamel damage, especially to reverse, generally good very fine (7) £400-500

Brigadier General Henry Norman Lawrence Beynon, C.M.G., born 1868, entered the Royal Artillery 1887; served on the North West Frontier 1897-98, present at the capture of Sampagha and Arhanga Passes. Served on the Staff during the Great War, France and Belgium 10 May to 11 November 1918; Greek Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria, European Turkey and the Islands of the Aegean sea 25 January to 27 December 1917; Gallipoli 25 April 1915 to 9 January 1916. Despatches twice London Gazette 13 July 1916, 21 July 1917.
