Donald William English was reported missing on 30 April 1942, and confirmed as P.O.W. in October 1942. In December 1944 he was reported as being Interned in a Thai Camp, but is known to have died of illness at the 30 Km mark on the Burma-Thailand Railway on 4 August 1943. Sold with original official confirmation of medals and other details.
