Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Shilling, Gp D, type 3.1, mm. harp, reads hib, 5.97g/6h (Sharp D1/1; SCBI Brooker 471, same dies; N 2223; S 2789). A piece of fine work, small dent above mark of value and some weakness in portrait, otherwise about extremely fine and toned, rare £1,000-£1,500
