Richard III (1483-1485), Groat, London, type 2b, mm. boar’s head (no.2), nothing below bust, later lettering (Winstanley 9; N 1679; S 2156). Skilfully pierced and plugged to left of King’s hair, otherwise about very fine, grey tone, rare £500-£700
