Rude, figures representing the French Republic on plinth, wall behind, rev. robed female holding palm-branch and supporting tablet, un-named, 68mm (CGMP –; cf. BM Acq. 1978-82, p.41, 68). Very fine; an early striking by the Monnaie £50-£70
