James I (1406-1437), Groat, First Fleur-de-lis issue, Edinburgh, mm. cross pattée, tressure of seven arcs, i on sceptre handle and to right of bust, saltire to left of bust and on each shoulder, lis on breast, rev. three large pellets and one small in first and fourth quarters, lis in second, lis, pellet and saltire in third, lis stops, 2.36g/12h (cf. SCBI 35, 651; B –; S 5195). Slightly bent, fine, rare (£80-100)
