Edward III (1327-1377), Pre-Treaty period, Noble, series C/E mule, mm. cross 2 on rev. only, Roman ns reversely barred, rs wedge tailed, rev. ns unbarred, rs curl tailed, small e in centre, annulet stops both sides, 7.77g/4h (SCBI Schneider 21; N 1144/1160; S 1486/1488). Obverse very slightly double-struck, nearly extremely fine, rare (£1,200-1,500)
