Thomas Coutts & Company, a cheque for £34.9.9-, made out to Mr Robert Southgate, dated 14 July 1707, also John Kendrick, a payment order to the value of £11 and 7 Shillings, to be paid to Sir Richard Hoaraty at the Golden Bottle in Fleet Forest, dated 31 July 1708, both with mounting remains, good fine and very good respectively (2 notes) £120-£160

The cheque in this lot is dated 1787 rather than 1707, as stated in the printed catalogue. Additonally, the other piece is in fact payable to ‘Sir Richard Hoare at ye Golden Bottle’.
