A French late 18th /early 19th century gold mounted rock crystal perfume bottle, of classical urn design, the hinged lid enclosing gold mounted stopper, the mounts of repeating geometric decoration and pierced work detail, raised on pedestal foot, with French eagle’s head restricted warranty mark, post 1838, double struck to the upper gold mount and to the foot and single struck to the stopper mount, with partially struck lozenge maker’s mark, in later fitted case, height 9cm. £1,200-£1,600
