Four single row cultured pearl and diamond necklaces, each necklace with a pavé set diamond spherical clasp, with screw fittings, the necklaces converting into two long necklaces or one opera-length necklace, the clasps stamped ‘750’ and ‘18K’, with original receipt from Mikimoto dated 1974, pearl diameters approximately 8mm; individual lengths approximately 54cm, 47.5cm, 43.5cm and 50cm; length as single opera necklace approximately 195cm. £2,000-£3,000

The original pearl necklaces were remodelled to incorporate the four diamond set spherical clasps by Fred LEIGHTON, New York, in 2009; each clasp measures 10mm in diameter, and each comprising approximately 0.72 carat of diamond weight.
