India General Service 1895-1902, 3 clasps, Punjab Frontier 1897-98, Samana 1897, Tirah 1897-98 (3996 Pte. Calder 1st Bn. Ryl Sco. Fus.) nearly extremely fine £300-£360

Paul Calder was born in Inverness and enlisted at Ayr on 10 January 1893, aged 18, a baker by trade. He served in the East Indies from January 1895 to November 1902, including operations on the North West Frontier of India 1897-98. He was discharged on 8 January 1905, after 12 years’ service. Sold with copied discharge papers and medal roll extract, the latter confirming all 3 clasps.
