Sir Richard John Uniacke Barrow, 6th Baronet Barrow of Ulverstone, was born on 2 August 1933, son of Major Sir Wilfrid Barrow, 5th Bt. He was educated at Beaumont School, served as a Captain in the Irish Guards, and succeeded his father in the baronetcy in 1960, in which year he joined International Computers and Tabulators Ltd. Hedied on 16 February 2009, aged 75.
