A German Second War Kriegsmarine High Seas Fleet Badge.
An absolutely mint example of the Schwerin produced High Seas Fleet Badge. Excellent gilt to the exterior wreath, eagle and swastika, all of the patinated finish remaining to the forward moving battleship. On the reverse side the characteristic of Schwerin where the gilding slightly floods over onto the blued backing is in place. Wide tapering pin, Schwerin markings in raised relief with its correct hinge. All fitted into its original blue packet, which is maker stamped ‘Schwerin, Berlin’, excellent condition £260-£300
