John Aubyn Wesley was born on 18 March 1930 and attested for the Royal Signals at Norwich on 29 September 1947. He served with them in the Middle East, Germany, Cyprus, the Far East, and at home, and was discharged on 23 May 1973, after 25 years and 237 days’ service.
