This coin was the subject of an article by Peter D. Spencer in The Searcher, December 2000, in which it was attributed to the mint of Eye, the mint signature having been read as on ei. The reverse appears to be a die duplicate of a coin tentatively put to Winchester by the late Patrick Finn (P Finn FPL 13, no.96) to which the article in The Searcher properly draws attention
