A Great War ‘Western Front’ M.M. awarded to Corporal R. Lacey, King’s Royal Rifle Corps, who died of wounds on the Western Front on 10 January 1918

Rostron Lacey was born in Haslingden, Lancashire, and attested there for the King’s Royal Rifle Corps. He served with the 13th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and died of wounds on 10 January 1918. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.

Sold together with a double-sided glazed small pocket photograph frame, one side containing a photograph of the recipient in uniform, the other a photograph of the recipient’s wife.
