Ife, 10 hrs 5 mins 21 secs), 32mm, Sussex Walking & Athletic Club, an enamelled bronze award medal by Vaughton for W. Wright, Brighton, 48mm; Eastbourne, Eastbourne College, a bronze award medal by T. Fattorini, named (Swimming Sports, 1938, V.P. Sams, 2nd in 100 Yards (Class II)), 38mm; Lancing, Lancing College, Victor Ludorum, a silver award medal by Mappin & Webb, named (G.H. Heslop, 1914), hallmarked London 1911, 45mm, Athletic Sports, award medals by Mappin & Webb (5), in silver, un-named, hallmarked Birmingham 1927, and in bronze (4), three named (Junior Quarter-Mile, 1930, 2nd, T.K. George Henry Heslop, Capt., 16th Bn, Middlesex Regt, killed on the first day of the Battle of the Somme, 1 July 1916, aged 21; buried at Hawthorn Ridge Cemetery No.1, Auchonvillers; son of George and Gertrude Heslop, 41 The Park, Mitcham, Surrey
