Earl of Manchester, 1643, an oval silver-gilt badge, unsigned [perhaps by T. Rawlins], armoured bust three-quarters left, rev. family arms in oval garnished shield, coronet above, no border, 30 x 22mm, 5.49g (Platt II, pp.231-2; MI I, 309/137; E 143A). Very fine with a good portrait, very rare; with clip and ring for suspension £1,200-£1,500
