YORKSHIRE, Doncaster, oval ivory (2), Ladies Stand, Erected 1858, backs named (Col. G. Smyth), both 50 x 37mm, 8.70g and 8.35g (W –; D & W –; cf. DNW 176, 284) [2]. Very fine and very rare; pierced for suspension, with contemporary blue ribbons £300-£400

The recipient is almost certainly connected to a Yorkshire military regiment. Research potential.
