James III (1460-1488), Groat, Edinburgh, mm. cross fleury, tressure of seven arcs broken by bust, trefoils on cusps, rev. mullet of five points in first and fourth quarters, three pellets in second and third quarters, 1.94g/4h (cf. SCBI 35, 764-5; B 25/24; S 5280). Two hairline scratches on obverse, otherwise very fine (£300-350)
