Charles I (1625-1649), Chester mint, Halfcrown, mm. cinquefoil on rev. only, horseman left, crowned oval garnished shield, 13.83g/12h (Bull 580; Lyall b/iii; SCBI Brooker 1115, same dies; N 2628; S 3131). Weak in parts and surfaces slightly porous, otherwise good fine, rare £1,000-£1,200
