1st Tower Hamlets Engineer Volunteers (Cannon Street Road). a very fine and rare officer’s pouch belt plate c1860-1901, the plated back plate with central mount being the White Tower in gilt metal, below a tri-part scroll ‘FIRST TOWER HAMLETS’ overlaid with a crowned Union spray, at the base an open belt scroll inscribed ‘ENGINEERS’, three screw fasteners to reverse; Tower Hamlet Rifles a good quality other ranks glengarry badge in blackened brass, a QVC circular title strap with central plated White Tower mount, two loop fasteners; 6th (North East London) Tower Hamlet Rifle Volunteers (Hoxton), a good quality officer’s plated pouch badge being a multi rayed fluted star with central White Tower mount and the numeral ‘6’ below, two screw fasteners to reverse, all dirty but in very good condition (3) £250-300
