Hugh Hunter enlisted in London. Serving with the 4th Battalion Seaforth Highlanders, he entered the France / Flanders theatre of war on 7 November 1914. He died of wounds, France / Flanders, on 11 March 1915. Listed as ‘Private, 2000’ in ‘Soldiers Died’.
