Private A. J. Harding, 1st Battalion Leicestershire Regiment, entered the France / Flanders theatre of war on 9 September 1914. He was later transferred to the Notts & Derby Regiment and then the Labour Corps. He was discharged on 22 September 1915.

Lance Corporal W. Edmunds, 1st Battalion Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment, entered the France / Flanders theatre of war on 8 Septmber 1914. Entitled to the Silver War Badge.

Private H. Sheldrick, 2nd Battalion Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment, entered the France / Flanders theatre of war on 11 November 1914. He was later renumbered ‘54022’.
