Waterloo 1815 (Thomas Mason, 1st Reg. Dragoon Guards) fitted with original steel clip and ring suspension, edge bruising and polished, otherwise about nearly very fine £1200-1400

Two men of this name enlisted into the 1st Dragoon Guards, within two days of each other, on the 22nd and 24th September 1812. Both were present at the battle of Waterloo, where the latter was killed in action. The above medal probably belongs to the former man who was aged 17 at the time of his enlistment.
