Cnut (1016-1035), Penny, Leofric, leofric on heo, 0.97g/12h (FEJ 362, same obv. die; N 787; S 1158). A trifle weak on obverse at 10 o’clock (and corresponding on reverse), otherwise good very fine, toned, extremely rare of this moneyer; possibly only one other believed known (£400-500)

The only other specimen traced by the cataloguer (Elmore Jones 362, possibly ex Longman 227 part, ex Ready) sold for £75 in 1971
