Defence Medal; Coronation 1953; Special Constabulary Long Service Medal, G.V.R., 1st issue, with The Great War 1914-18 clasp and 4 Additional Long Service Bars, dated 1932, 1940, 1944, and 1950 (Senior Wagstaff) mounted as worn, very fine or better (3) £80-£120

Senior Wagstaff was born in Holmforth, Yorkshire, in 1882, and served as a Superintendent with the County Borough of Leeds Special Constabulary. Although he would have been aged 71 in 1953 when he received the Coronation Medal such an age was by no means unusual in the Special Constabulary.
