Leslie Bertram Goldwin served as a Corporal with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve during the Second World War, and died on 24 July 1942. He is buried in Heliopolis War Cemetery, Egypt. His medals were sent to his father, Alexander Richard Walter Goldwin.
