Iraq 2003-11, 1 clasp, 19 Mar to 28 Apr 2003 (25135199 Gnr L G Warrington RA) mounted for wear, and with named card box of issue, nearly extremely fine £180-£220

L. G. Warrington served with the 7th (Parachute) Regiment, Royal Horse Artillery, as part of the 16th Air Assault Brigade during the Iraq conflict of 2003. The Regiment entered Iraq from Kuwait, 20 March 2003, and gave fire support to the U.S. Marine Corps during the seizure of the Rumaila Oil fields. The 7th R.H.A. were equipped with 105mm guns and consisted of four batteries - ‘F’ (Sphinx), ‘G’ (Mercer’s), ‘H’ (Ramsay’s) and ‘I’ (Bull’s).

Sold with a photograph of recipient during parachute training, and a group photograph with him featured at No. 1 Parachute Training School.
