The Royal Bar was listed from 1904 to 1938 on Main Street, but was probably founded before 1904. They sold the “Finest wines, spirits, ales, iced drinks, tea and coffee all hours”. They also offered furnished apartments to let. The token appears to be for small change, having a value of Half-pence or perhaps a half-pint
